Moving to CT

Ok, so we’re nearing up on the 8 month mark since Rem and I decided to uproot ourselves and land here with family. The transition has been a transition- all shades of uncomfortable and of pleasant. All the different feelings that accompany a big shift, of moving away from one’s friends and community, not to mention the regular challenges that accompany being an entrepreneur and freelancer.

Where does one find their security when it seems like everything in their life rests upon a promise, a sense of hope without any guarantee? ⁣

Well, here’s what my higher guidance has had to say about that:⁣

“There is no guarantee. There is only the guarantee of evolution. And with it, wisdom gained through self-expansion. The path you are on, the path you find yourself walking or hopscotching or dancing or sulking or trudging or seemingly getting dragged down against your will, the one you are always making choices upon, left or right, right or left, when and where and what - even if the why tends to disappear at times like the night’s illusory separation from the sun, and even if the how’s present themselves only when the soles of your feet hit the ground- ⁣take heart in remembering that you are always loved in all transgressions, in all assumptions, decisions, all memories and regrets, all once upon a times, all one day may it be.⁣ Life will keep coming. It will keep moving you, even if you only ever find it within the moment it meets your senses. Now. And now. And here. And now. And here. And here. And now.”⁣

Perhaps the answer then, is what it ALWAYS is. In the awareness of our ever-changing life landscapes, we must remember that no one else - no person, place, situation, or circumstance can bring the sustained security, happiness, or peace that we seek. And that the only source of true solace exists deep within the self, in one’s own connection to the moment, to their inner sanctuary, their inner divinity - to what is and has always been- home.
