When I moved out to Los Angeles 11 1/2 years ago, I thought my dream was to be in movies; to make my living as a full-time actor. Until I was. Until I did. I couldn't have imagined how it would happen. I couldn't have anticipated the gift I would be given with voiceover; that somehow it would be the way I would eventually reach my goal and (somewhat) my dream.
A funny thing can happen when you follow a dream: it can actually come true and then change right before your eyes. Because that’s the thing about dreams: just like us they shift, they evolve, and they never really end. And so, at some point I realized that I didn’t actually want to BE in movies. I wanted my life to BE LIKE a movie. I wanted magic. I wanted adventures. I wanted to have unexplainable and fantastic experiences. To meet and spend time with interesting people. To see beautiful places. To fall in love. I wanted pleasantly surprising plot twists. To live a life worth being lived, to live a story worth being told. I moved out here expecting one thing and yet I received so much more. Thank you LA for some of my favorite experiences and some of my favorite places. But mostly thank you for all of the people out here that I’ve come to love. The story continues, as does the dream I’m off to follow. I won’t say goodbye, but until we meet again...
